Classic wooden sailing boat, designed and built in 1973 and retained by the designer's family until 2004, when she was sold to the present owner. The Bickford Checkstone 30 has a shallow long keel, round bilge, high stem, transom stern and positive sheer, providing comfortable, dry, stable cuising. She has been well maintained, and comes with most equipment purchased since 2000. She sleeps 5, with 6' headroom in the saloon, and varnished mahogany and iroko fittings.
